Happy Easter!

We decorated Easter eggs this year. I have wanted to do it for years but never did. We had an Easter egg hunt on saturday morning before we went to the beach, the kids loved it.

We drove down to Surfside beach, the kids swam and collected a nice set of seashells. We had lunch sat in the hot sun. Came home and realized we all got roasted really bad. I don't think Rebekah will ever turn down sunscreen again! I think I will have to start wearing it too.

The older kids go to NASA!

Friday March 21st Rebekah and Russell went to NASA with there Grandparents. When Russell came home the first thing he said was " this was the best day ever, I had fun". We don't here that very often.

A week in review!

My inlaws came into town on the 14th, it was Spring break for my kids. So it was a great time to check out the city and go on long drives. We had a great time visiting with them. The kids really enjoyed stories from Grandma and crafts that took all morning. Thanks Lois, for all the time you entertained the kids so I could catch my breath.

Do you want to try my peanut butter?

On friday our ward had to run the peanut butter factory, which is part of our church cannery. We make peanut butter for all of the Bishop's store houses all over the world. Houston has the only one, so a lot of peanut butter is made. All by members of the stakes here. It was so much fun. I got to wear cool gear. I am just glad I don't have to do it every day.

Sunny Days!

Jeremy might have been born during a snowstorm, but he is forsure a fan of the warmer climate. He is always wanting to be outside. It is nice that most days he gets to go out and play. Sorry folks we don't miss the snow. Not this year anyway.

Rebekah and Russell went to a birthday party
last weekend and this is how they returned.
A friend in the neighbourhood that is also in
Rebekah's class just turned 8.
It was a carnival type party and they had a blast.
I am glad that they have made good friends here.

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY

We had a few weeks of rain in February, my boys love to go out and play in it. They love catching the water out of the gutters and getting dirty. They are boys after all.
