Sprint for Life

This was back in May. I ran my first 5 k. It was so much fun I ran with two friends from church. The challenge we faced was it was a run/walk race so when we got there late, and registered then realized we were stuck behind the walkers we were disappointed and wanted to run the race, so me being the competitor I am. Decided to run pass the walkers, every time I hit a marker I would ask how close I was to the running groups, they would say your just a few minutes away. So we all ran fast and eventually caught up. Our time says we finished in 42 minutes but we know we ran it a lot faster because we had a 15 minute last start.
I can't believe my progress since May. I am still attending the Cycling class and am loosing more and more inches each week.

Creepy Crawly!

After I went to the gym for my morning routine, I was welcomed home by this little or should I say big friend. A wolf Spider. Yikes, he had a short life. I happily got rid of him with a broom.
Wolf Spiders are large, hairy spiders that hunt for their prey by running it down and capturing it. Although VERY scary, they are harmless and can be ignored. What a relief well not really.

OUR 9th ANNIVERSARY

It's our Anniversary today, we took the kids out with us tonight, because we are celebrating by ourselves tomorrow. We had a busy dinner with all of the kids, never a dull moment when you have 4 kids to keep entertained while waiting for a meal. Who would of known that we would have 4 kids by now, we are very greatful and lucky to have them in our lives. Our love for each other grows everyday. I think we both agree that we are lucky to have found each other.

The 4th of July weekend

We went to this small town close to Austin, called Johnson City. It was nice to be in the country again. We miss being able to go home to the farm every other month or to the mountains. We were excited ot hear about this place called Enchanted Rock. It was this great big granite rock. Very cool, fun to climb. We all made it up even our 18 month old. We realized that our kids are very good climbers so we took another hike to Prenelles Falls. Back at the HOTEL I planned to try and get some pictures of the family using a remote. We got a couple cute shots out of 75. Why don't kids cooperate. We even made it to the fireworks, usually we have sleeping children. It was an hour long and lots of amazing fireworks. My kids love the pool we spend hours there at least three times a week. They are getting better at swimming everytime we go.

Dance and Gymnastics!

Rebekah and Russell are in an 8 week Hip Hop class, they are still undecided if they like it.

Jacob of course has been our Flipping Spring since he could walk, so this Gymnastic class is a walk in the park. He loves it.

Painted the kids rooms and Den!

Thought the home needed a face lift to brighten up the rooms a bit, I got carried away and picked out some fun bright colors. Glad it's done for now.
